Was at Six Miles Waterworks Park the other day looking for new ‘playground’. The park is just right next to the old highway toll booth to NYC. I drove pass the park many times but never thought of stopping by before. From the map, I could see that it is connecting to Albany Pine Bush Preserve and has few walking trails can be explored.
When I arrived at the entrance, I just realized I had missed out many opportunities that the park has been offering to public. Shame on me that I always finding excuse not to visit this park much earlier.
Spotted a male Nuthatch along the trail. He was going from tree to tree looking for food. He did manage to find a moth hiding between tree bark.
