Wood Duck – juvenile

Nikon D300, 500mm PF, 1/1000s, f5.6, iso400

The photo was taken few months back when juvenile Wood Ducks were active around the preserve area. I believe they are all grown up now and might have left the area for warmer place in the south.

Started seeing Canada Geese are returning to the area and getting lesser song birds around. It will be fun to look for different things to do at different seasons. Sometime it is easier to do things at particular season but sometime can only be done in particular season like Skiing in Winter.

I am looking forward to drive up north for fall foliage in coming weeks.
