Long-Banded Silverline

Nikon D300, SB800, Tamron 180mm, 1/125s, f9, iso400

Long-Banded Silverline is one of my favorite Lycaenidae butterfly. It is not commonly found in Singapore. I was thrill when I found one at an urban park. I was following him for awhile from bushes to bushes. The thicket bushes was getting my way to set my camera in parallel planes with its wing.

After fighting my way for awhile, I managed to get few shots of him in proper focus. I don’t have a shot with its wing open but I am really happy that I have this in my butterfly collection.
