Common Five Ring

Nikon D300, SB800, Tamron 180mm, 1/100s, f5, iso800

This is a common butterfly which can be found at neighborhood parks across South East Asia. You might be wonder why it is called 5 rings when it has more than 5. See link for detail. In the blogspot, it has detailed out how to identify it and compare it with others.

I was very confused when friends helped me to identify them. I was not able to follow their explanation until i read that article. Very interesting way to name the butterfly. Hope you enjoy reading the blogspot.
